Manufacturing experience
GloTech has cultivated a wide variety of Manufacturing experts both internally and through strategic partnerships. This allows our design team to create the top-performing products, while our Operations team can deliver these solutions quickly and with high quality.
By leveraging advanced manufacturing knowledge in design and in fabrication, our experience has been a key contributor in providing efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions to our customers.
GloTech RE-DOTM Process
GloTech’s proprietary Reverse Engineering, Design Optimization (RE-DOTM) process can be applied across a broad range of machinery components used in the water & wastewater industries.
First, a component is scanned in 3D using advanced FARO technology and analyzed in detail. Then, our engineers use state-of-the-art design tools to optimize the product, following GloTech’s unique mechanical and hydraulic design process developed from years of focused expertise in water & wastewater equipment.
The RE-DOTM process enables GloTech to provide our customers rapid development of market-leading new products, as well as improved replacements products/components that are no longer supported by the OEM.
An example of using our RE-DOTM process would be when a customer came to us with an aerator propeller they had been unhappy with excessive vibrations causing pre-mature motor and bearing failure and time intensive manual blade rebalancing. We were able scan, recreate, and then analyze the existing design.
Then we redesigned the impeller blade to optimized the blade to blade height through multiple iterations of CFD simulations and physical testing to effectively eliminate the vibrations. By using lost-wax investment casting process we were able to create an accurate blade block with excellent surface smoothness that eliminated the need for blade balancing altogether.
An extremely happy customer found our RE-DOTM process was able surpass every design need and by using the right manufacturing process, we were able to give a cost savings. This customer immediately started multiple projects to improve their other impellers.
3D Modeling
Our team of expert SolidWorks designers can quickly make even the most complex product concepts into complete and accurate 3D models and asseblines. This allows us to easily verify the fit and function of design concepts, efficient computational simulations, and accurate manufacturing ready design blueprints. We are also able to create high-resolution renderings to provide a photo-realistic preview of the product.
For example we used CAD as a core tool to create a custom fitting for a Pivot application. Before, our customer used a conglomerations of off the shelf fittings and we were able to use CAD to develop a single easily manufactured component that our customer has loved.

Computational Simulations
GloTech leverages state-of-the-art simulation tools to enhance our R&D process. Structural components undergo comprehensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) when optimizing operating loads and ensuring robust safety factors.
We also employ Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze and predict flow patterns and the performance of hydraulic components. By simulating multiple design options, we can identify and select the optimal design, reducing the extent and duration of physical prototyping resulting in both industry leading performance and fast development times.

Popular Pumps FAQ
How long does it take to get ahold of the support team?
We respond to calls immediately during our standard business hours, which are 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. Support emails are also addressed the same day they are received.
How do solid handling pumps differ from standard pumps?
Solid handling pumps have larger flow paths in the pump bowl and through the impellers which allow solid particles to pass through without clogging. They are also built with robust materials to withstand the abrasive nature of solids.
As a end user, Who should I call first for technical support: my distributor, or GloTech?
You should start by contacting your distributor. They can typically assist with common questions and are usually local to you.
What are Ball Valves used for?
Ball Valves are ideal for on/off control without pressure drop. They are commonly used in applications requiring quick shutoff and are suitable for both liquids and gases.
What types of valves does GloTech offer?
GloTech offers a comprehensive range of valves, including Ball Valves, Gate Valves, Check Valves, and Butterfly Valves, each designed for specific applications and fluid control needs.
